Riders per train | 24 |
Big Dipper was an wooden roller coaster located at Springlake Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.
History
The ride opened in 1926 and had trains from an unknown manufacturer. These trains had the name "Whirlwind" on them, presumably an early name of the coaster. A fire happened in May of 1946 which damaged the coaster, it got repairs and reopened in 1947. The trains got replaced with NAD trains for the 1957 season, but these where later destroyed in another fire not long after, and got replaced with PTC trains.
