Comet was a wooden roller coaster manufactured by American firm Philadelphia Toboggan Company previously located at Pleasure Pier in Port Arthur, Texas, USA.

History

Work began on grading for the ride in February 1942.[1] Designer Herbert P. Schmeck and builder Frank Hoover arrived on site in mid-March.[1] The ride opened in June.[1]

The ride was damaged by Hurricane Audrey on June 27, 1957.[1]
