Dive Bomber is a body speed trapdoor water slide built by Canadian manufacturer ProSlide located at Six Flags White Water in Marietta, Georgia, USA.[1][2][3] It orignally opened as Cliffhanger, minus the trapdoor element.

History

Cliffhanger, a 90 foot tall ProSlide FreeFALL, opened on April 25, 1998, during a "sneak peek" day held before the park opened for the season.[1][4]

On August 28, 2014, Six Flags WhiteWater annouced it was adding a ProSlide SkyBOX trapdoor element to the top of Cliffhanger, and renaming the slide Dive Bomber.[2][5] This increased the slide's height to 100 feet.[3]

Cliffhanger closed on September 7, 2014, and reopened as Dive Bomber on May 16, 2015.[6][7]
