History

There is some discrepancy on when Eagles Flight first opened. Holiday World has cited 1976 in its blog posts, but the ride was referred to as new in a 1977 newspaper article and the 2023 Holiday World & Splashin' Safari 75 Years of America's First Theme Park book.^[1]^[2]^[3]

The ride received new vehicles for the 2025 season.^[4] The tubs reportedly originally operated on Seabreeze Flyers at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, New York, USA.^[5]
