Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel is a Carousel manufactured by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters that currently operates at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. It previously operated at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The ride features four rows of horses and two chariots.
History
The ride opened in 1910 and replaced Carousel. The attraction originally included brass rings, but these were later removed. The décor and building for the Grand Carrousel changed in the 1930s.[1]
The ride closed with the park in 1969. By 1974, it had reportedly been relocated to Old Orchard Beach, Maine, USA.[2]
The ride was later restored by Carousel Works and reopened in 2014.[3]
Design
Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel was housed in a structure at Euclid Beach Park with a diameter of 90 feet.[4]
