Figure of Eight was a wooden side friction roller coaster previously located at Kursaal Amusement Park in Southend On Sea, Essex, England, UK. It operated from 1910 to 1940. Re-named 'Alpine Ride' c1925. It was SBNO from the end of the 1940 season until taken apart in 1947 with wood used to repair the Harton Scenic railway that was located immediately to the west. Only the lift hill remained by 1948.
