Description |
Stating that the hotel is no longer economically viable, Sahara management announced recently that the hotel--built in 1952, and home to scores of famous entertainers over the years--would close permanently. At it's height, the hotel employed 1100 people. It was the sixth hotel to be built along the Las Vegas Strip. |
