Flying Island is a flat ride with similarities to an Observation Tower. It consists of a circular observation deck on the end of a long arm. The long arm pivots upward, lifting the observation deck into the air. The deck may also rotate about an axis at the end of the arm. After a set period of time, the arm slowly pivots downward and the observation deck returns to the ground for unloading.
