'Flying Scooters, at times referred to as Butterflys,[1] was a Flying Scooters ride manufactured by American firm Bisch Rocco previously located at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The ride originally operated at the Great Lakes Exposition in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

History

Flying Scooters operated at the Great Lakes Exposition in Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 1936 and 1937.

The ride was relocated to Euclid Beach for the 1938 season.[2][1]

The ride closed with the park in 1969.[3]

Incident

A nine-year-old girl died after riding Flying Scooters on June 16, 1949. The rider had a tumor that had hemorrhaged.[4]
