Free Fall Tower is a Drop tower at Damanskiy Island Amusement Park in Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl, Russia.

History

The Free Fall Tower was introduced at the VVC Wheel Park on May 11, 2002.It was the first drop tower in Russia and the first drop tower manufactured by Pax Company.[1] It was relocated at the Damansky Island Amusement Park in Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl, Russia and opened on 24 July 2002.

Accidents

On June 11, 2011, the brake of the attraction did not work, so 4 people were injured. The examination showed that the passengers of the attraction suffered due to overload.[2][3][4][5]
