The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, often abbreviated as IAAPA, is an association that promotes the development, success, and safe operation of amusement parks and rides.
History
The organization was founded as the National Association of Amusement Parks in 1918. It was later rebranded as National Association of Amusement Parks, Pools, & Beaches before adopting its current name.
Expos
IAAPA hosts an annual tradeshow, the IAAPA Expo. IAAPA also hosts smaller tradeshows in Asia and Europe. IAAPA made a deal with the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA in 2019 to continue hosting the Expo through 2025.[1]
The IAAPA Expo was not held in 2020.

Hall of Fame
The IAAPA Hall of Fame was established in 1990 to honor individuals who are considered by IAAPA to have made substantial contributions to the amusement industry.[9]
