HELP

Log flume was a Log Flume built by French manufacturer Reverchon previously located at Blackpoool South Pier in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK.

History

The ride was originally owned by Spanish showman Banul, who would use the ride on faris untill 2009. It would be bought by and shipped to Blackpool South Pier, where it opened at the end of the pier. It would stay in this location until 2017. This year would see the addition of the Happy Caterpiller on the old spot of Log Flume, with the ride moving to the promanade, next to the South Pier entrance. It would eventually be completely removed after the Blackpool Council declared that the ride “would detract from the character and appearance of the Prom”.[1]
