Maurer Rides GmbH is a roller coaster manufacturer located in Munich, Germany.[1] The company developed the X-Seat, a special kind of car made around 2003 that allows more ride time upside down without over the shoulder restraints.
History
The company began producing roller coasters when it took over roller coaster manufacturing from steel firm BHS in 1993.
In 2014, the company changed its name from Maurer Söhne to Maurer. The rides subsidiary was later re-branded as Maurer Rides.[2]
