HELP

Montanha Russa do Astronauta is a steel indoor roller coaster currently located at Parque da Mônica in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

History

The ride opened with the park on 5 July 1997 as Silverado. Its name and theme would be changed in 2003, being known as O Mundo da Xuxa from then on. This name change coincided with the park changing its name to O Mundo da Xuxa Theme Park. This wouldn't be the last time however, as its second and final name change also cooincided with a rebrand of the park. The coaster was given a space theme and renamed to Montanha Russa do Astronauta, which translates to Astronaut's Roller Coaster. Astronaut is a character included in the new story of the park.
