Oceaneering Entertainment Systems is a manufacturer of dark Ride systems and other amusement devices.

History

Oceaneering Entertainment Systems (a subsidiary of Oceaneering International) was founded in 1992 after the acquisition of Eastport International Inc. Eastport specialized in remote-operated vehicles and underwater robotics. Due to this, Universal Studios contracted them to create new animatronics for Jaws, as the previous ones experienced frequent downtime. With their newfound experience and interest in the themed entertainment industry, Oceaneering Entertainment Systems expanded to dark rides and other amusement ride systems.
