A Simulator is an attraction that showcases a ride film, of which the ride "simulates" the actions by moving the seats, with some having an interactive "game" element. These are different from "3D" Cinemas, where the seats do not move around.
There are many different types of simulators. Permanent ones tend to be featured in enclosed spaces. Some theme park simulators are produced as standalone cabinets that are styled like flight simulators.
