Speed Shuttle is a steel inverted/suspended roller coaster located at the abandoned Sino Wonderland park in Huainan, China. The roller coaster is one of several Vekoma style copycats found throughout the world. The roller coaster was designed, manufactured, and built by Beijing Shibaolai Amusement Equipment.[1]
As of October 2019, Speed Shuttle continues to stand as it was built with the train in the station, and was never operated as Sino Wonderland was abandoned during its construction due to funding falling through.
Photographic & Video Material of Coaster
Because of the financial situation surrounding the Sino Wonderland Park, the Chinese government has made efforts to keep the park hidden and out of international spotlight to reduce notions of any form of financial upset in the greater Chinese economy. Very little can be found via Chinese media surrounding the park's downfall and details of the attractions, including the roller coaster. Because the coaster is one of many copycat types, multiple similar coasters may often be mistaken for this particular one. The most recent and best videographic documentation was done by an Urban Exploration group named Proper People. This group filmed alongside a local urban exploration group in China where they climbed to the precipice of the lift hill as well as examined the trains as they sit in the station. That is the only true concrete videographic content that is verifiably from the park's location in relation to this roller coaster. Their coverage begins at the 23:20 mark. Note this is not a sponsored plug. [2] In addition a fan made recreation via No Limits 2 is also able to be found[3].
