Standard Amusements, formerly known as United Parks, is a amusement park owner and operator located in Rye, New York, USA.[1]

History

United Parks was founded in 2014 by Nicholas J. Singer, and it quickly acquired Missouri's Bluff Falls Water Park, renaming it Hydro Adventures.[2][3]

Daytona Lagoon was purchased by the company in 2015.[4]

It started operating Playland Park under the subsidiary Standard Amusements in 2016.[5]

United Parks permanently closed Hydro Adventures in 2020 after not operating due to the COVID-19 pandemic and an unsuccessful attempt to sell the park.[6][7]

Daytona Lagoon was sold by the company to BWL Acquisition in 2021.[8]

In 2025, Standard Amusements stated its intention to stop operating Playland Park.[9]
