The Pyramids Centre is a leisure centre formerly containing a swimming pool and water slides, located in Southsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, UK.
History
The Pyramids Centre opened on 29 July 1988.[1]
In August 2013, BH Live took over operations of the venue.[2]
On 6 February 2014, the centre closed following water damage from a storm.[3] Following a refurbishment, it reopened at the end of September.[4]
In September 2020, it was announced that the pools would be removed in favour of an indoor play area, due to the declining popularity of the pools and high operation costs.[5][6] The play area, entitled "Exploria", opened at the end of July 2021.[7]
