Turnpike was a Track Ride previously located at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.[2]
History
Turnpike opened in 1962 and was based on the Turnpike product from American firm Arrow Development. The ride's winding path was based on a plan by Howard Stoneback for a ride featuring Jeeps as vehicles, but the design was never completed and the layout was adapted for the Turnpike.
After the ride closed, one of its bridges remained and was used as a pedestrian pathway for a nearby apartment building.[3] The remnant was demolished in 2020.
