R.J. Lakin
Year Introduced 1933
Last Produced 1948

Waltzer was a Waltzer ride previously produced by UK manufacturer R.J. Lakin between 1933 and 1948. The company's first batch of Waltzers were the first to be built in the world, although closely based on American and European Tilt-A-Whirls. The first machine to open was showman Charles Thurston's Waltzer in July 1933. Much of the construction of the Lakin machines was carried out by fellow UK firm Maxwell, who would later go on to build Waltzers in their own right.
