Wave Coaster was a steel kiddie roller coaster located at Takarazuka Garden Fields in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. Opened in 1952, the ride was the first roller coaster built in Japan.
Design
The ride was the first of Sansei's Jet-Roller Coaster model.[1] This model would later mostly focus on the manufacturer's larger coasters, with the Mini-Roller Coaster now being use for small scale coasters and Wild Mice, making the Wave Coaster the odd one out with its child-friendly stats.
Trains
Single train with 3 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 12 riders per train.
