3D Adventure the Ride (Japanese: 3Dアドベンチャー ザ ライド) was a Simulator formerly located at Umeda Joypolis in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan.
History
The attraction originally opened under the name of "RIDE ON LIVE - Hitomi Yaida" (Japanese: RIDE on LIVE ~矢井田瞳~) on 26 April 2003. It was a 3D motion simulator that showcased footage of Japanese folk rock singer Hitomi Yaida's Tokyo Dome concert on Christmas Day 2002.[1]
The attraction closed on 13 April 2004[2] and reopened under its new name two days later on the 16th.[3][4] In this version of the attraction, guests wore 3D goggles to bring the pictures to life. It featured a rotation of three ride films that were alternated periodically - Paradise Coaster, Alibaba's Great Adventure, and Alibaba's Jewel Hunt.
The attraction closed in 2013.[5] Its space was taken over by Sadako 3D - Floral Tribute.
