Apex Parks Group was a privately held entertainment group based in Aliso Viejo, California. They currently own and operate 9 Family Entertainment Centers and 2 Water Parks. Out of their 11 parks, there are 9 Boomers! locations, and 2 Big Kahuna’s Water Parks (One is Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park).
In February 2020, Apex announced the closure of Indiana Beach and Fantasy Island before filing for bankruptcy in April. Then in June they also announced the closure of several Boomers! locations. After the closure of various Boomers! locations, Apex Parks Group went out of business. Palace Entertainment regained ownership of the Boomers! Parks & made a subsidary of 7 of the 9 Boomers! Locations, as well as the 2 Big Kahuna's Water Parks. Boomers! Palm Springs & Vista are both owned directly by Palace Entertainment, & not by the Boomers! Parks Subsidary.
