Cú Chulainn is a wooden roller coaster located at Emerald Park in Ashbourne, Meath, Ireland. When it opened on 4 June 2015, it surpassed Coaster-Express at Parque Warner Madrid in San Martín de la Vega, Community of Madrid, Spain in ride length as Cú Chulainn has a ride time of 3 minutes while Coaster-Express is only 2 minutes.

Cú Chulainn is the 17th coaster manufactured from The Gravity Group, LLC. It was built by The Gravitykraft Corporation.

History

Cú Chulainn was officially opened on June 6, 2015. It was launched as "the longest rollercoaster in Europe and the only wooden rollercoaster with an inversion. Despite this claim, there is no inversion, which is instead a overbanked turn at 115 degrees. The coaster reached a height of 32 meters and a speed of 90 km/h.

The train leaves the station into a small drop and a 90 degree turn before heading into the chain lift which climbs up to 32 meters before dropping 32.2 and hitting 3 Gs and the bottom of the hill.
