Over-banked curve
An over-banked curve is an element common on large steel roller coasters and hybrid roller coasters. It consists of a turn or curve in which the track tilts beyond 90 degrees but less than 135 degrees (the minimum to be considered an inversion), typically in the 100-120 degree range.
