An in-line twist is a roller coaster inversion where the track twists laterally to form a 360 degree roll. A similar element is the heartline roll.
An example was Volcano: The Blast Coaster at Kings Dominion, manufactured by Intamin which consisted of 3 inverted in-line twists after the main double launch and blast out of the volcano.
