Cannonball Run was a wooden roller coaster located at Waterville USA in Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA.
History
Cannonball Run opened in 1995.
On June 26, 2018, the park announced that Cannonball Run would close at the end of the 2018 season. President of Waterville USA Joe Warrington said the removal would "make room for even more exciting attractions" however a replacement has not been announced.[1] The last day of operation was September 30.
Design
The ride had an out and back layout. It was built over a parking lot and had openings in the lift hill structure to allow traffic to pass.
Trains
Single train with 5 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 20 riders per train. The train was built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, Inc.
