Cedar Point Shores is a water park in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. It is situated beside Cedar Point.

History

The park opened as Soak City on May 7, 1988.[1] The park originally had 10 water slides, consisting of two speed slides (replaced by Riptide Raceway), two tube slides (Wild Walleye), three raft slides (Crosscurrent), and three body slides (Perch Plunge) manufactured by Surf Coaster.[2][3][4]

On August 18, 2016, Cedar Point announced that the water park would be expanded for 2017 and renamed Cedar Point Shores.[5]
