Plunge Slide is a Surf Coaster wide tube water slide located at Cedar Point Shores in Sandusky, Ohio, USA.[1][2]

History

The slide originally opened at Soak City in 1988 as part of a set of three tan-colored slides referred to as Raft Slides .[3][4]

In 2012 the slides were repainted in yellow, pink and blue.[5]

In 2017 the slide complex was renamed to Crosscurrent with the rebranding of Soak City to Cedar Point Shores.[5]

The two partially-enclosed pink and yellow enclosed tube slides were removed prior to the start of the 2024 season with only the blue open wide slide remaining. The park stated the slides had reached the end of their service life.[5]
