Clair Hain, Jr. is the co-founder and president of Great Coasters International.
Career
Clair began working as a carpenter at Dinn Corporation and later at its successor, Custom Coasters International, Inc..
In March 1994, Clair fell 50 feet from the Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana, USA, while working on building the ride. He suffered broken ribs, punctured lungs, a mangled liver, a broken wrist and collar bone, and fractures to his vertebrae.[1] Clair left Custom Coasters International, Inc. after the incident.[2]
Clair co-founded Great Coasters International with Mike Boodley in 1994. The duo announced the company at the IAAPA Expo in Miami, Florida, USA in November 1994.[3]
