Ferris Wheel is a Ferris Wheel formerly located at Toys R Us Times Square in New York City, New York, USA.

History

The ride opened with the flagship store on November 17, 2001. It was located on the first floor of the store and was the flagship attraction.[1] It was designed by the US businesses Entech Innovative and J. Newbold Associates.[2] Upon opening, it was the world's largest indoor Ferris Wheel attraction.[3]

The ride closed with the store on December 30, 2015, after the store's lease was not renewed.[4]

In September 2016, Toys R Us' parent company donated the wheel cars to the Give Kids The World Village resort in Central Florida. They were converted into parade floats and used for Christmas parades at the resort.[5]
