Greyhound was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Lakewood Park in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
History
Greyhound opened in 1915. The ride underwent a major refurbishment in the 1950s.
The ride closed in 1974.
The ride was featured in the 1977 movie Smokey and the Bandit. Although it was standing but not operating at this time, it was repainted for the movie.
The ride was destroyed for the 1980 movie Smokey and the Bandit II.[1]
