Standing but not operating

A roller coaster or amusement park is standing but not operating (SBNO) if it is still standing but has not been operating for an extended period of time.

Reasons for being SBNO

There are several reasons for a park or coaster to be SBNO. Examples are:

  • Abandonment (usually due to financial issues).
