Hopkins Rides is an amusement ride manufacturer based in Palm City, Florida. The company has had experience in amusement rides for over 45 years and currently specializes in water rides.
History
O.D. Hopkins Associates was created in 1965 by the owner of the same name.[1] The company saw success with its log flume, a type of ride introduced by competitor Arrow Development in 1963. Hopkins' first log flume opened in 1980 and the company would go on to build 26 more in the following 11 years.
On August 24, 2012 WhiteWater announced that it had acquired Hopkins Rides and would continue to offer its products under the Hopkins Rides name.[2]. The Hopkins Rides name has since been dropped.
