Hornet was a steel roller coaster located at Flambards Theme Park in Helston, Cornwall, England, UK. It opened in 1995.[1] It was the most southerly roller coaster in the United Kingdom.
On June 5, 2024, Flambards announced that Hornet, along with Sky Force, Sky Swinger, and Thunderbolt, had closed and would be removed.[2]
On November 4, 2024, Flambards Theme Park announced it would close permanently. [3]

Colour scheme
When the ride opened, it had yellow track with green supports. For the 2007 season, the supports were painted blue.
Trains
5 trains with 2 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged inline in 2 rows, for a total of 4 riders per train. The trains had the head of a hornet on the front.

A hornet is a type of wasp.
