Space Race was an enclosed Superbob built by Belgian manufacturer Sobema previously located at Flambards Theme Park in Helston, Cornwall, England, UK.
On 25 July 2022, three people were injured in an incident where the ride operator had to make an emergency stop.[1] The ride was closed following the incident. An investigation by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found that part of the metal frame of one of the ride's cars had failed.[2]
