}} Jet Star was a steel roller coaster previously located at Aventura Park in Callao, Callao, Peru.

History

The ride originally opened in Kulturpark Plänterwald in 1970, where it operated up until the park's closure in 2001. It would travel with the park's owners to Peru, where it started operation at Play Land Park. It would be relocated along with this park to its new location in 2009, continuing operating up until the park's closure in January of 2011. The ride is said to now travel with Peruvian showmen.

Colour scheme

Red track and yellow supports. The ride originally opened with blue track and white supports.

Trains

Single cars. Riders are arranged inline in 4 rows, for a total of 4 riders per car.

Incident

An incident occured in 1994. 4 girls where lightly wounded when two cars of the coaster collided due to a human error. The ride was inspected and deemed safe to continue operation. The ride would be repainted in an effort to make the public forget this accident.[1]
