Lake George Action Park, originally known as Gaslight Village, was an amusement park previously located in Lake George, New York, USA.
History
Gaslight Village opened in 1959 and closed after Labor Day in 1989.[1] A portion of the park reopened the following year under the name Lake George Ride and Fun Park.[2]
It reopened as Lake George Action Park in 1996.[3] Owner Charley Wood wanted to build a Skycoaster and sought a height variance for the ride, but was ultimately rejected by the town zoning and planning boards.[4]
The remnants of the park were demolished in late 2010.[1]
