Murder Lodge (Japanese: マーダーロッジ) was a Walk-Through attraction formerly located at Kyoto Joypolis in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Due to the park's small size, the attraction shared the same space as Fortune Museum.[1]

Ride Variants

After 1999 until the ride's removal, the attraction's space was used for several promotional attractions based on Japanese horror films. These attractions were the same as Murder Lodge aside from the change in theming.

  • From 17 July 1999 until an unspecified date in 2000, the attraction became The Ring - 3D Sound (リング ~3Dサウンド~) as a tie-in to Ring 2. [2]
  • From 20 July 2000 until September 2001, the attraction became School Day of the Dead - 3D Sound (死者の学園祭~3Dサウンド~) as a tie-in to the Japanese horror film School Day of the Dead.[3]
