History

Preston was formed in 1986 by a group of managers who began working together the previous year. Barbieri dates back to 1954 and was established by the Barbieri brothers in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The two companies merged in 2000.

The company acquired the assets of L&T Systems in 2009.
