Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park was an indoor theme park situated within Puteri Harbour in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia, near Legoland Malaysia. It is situated over four floors that are split between two mini-parks, Sanrio Hello Kitty Town, and Thomas Town (formerly The Little Big Club), each operating as a separate paid facility.
History
The park was announced in August 2012.[1]
The park announced its closure on 3 October 2019, due to low visitor numbers.[2] The park officially closed its doors on 31 December 2019.[3]
Layout
Floor 1
The entrance to the complex, where guests can purchase tickets for either park. A gift shop is also situated here.
Floor 2
The location of Sanrio Hello Kitty Town. This section of the park is dedicated to Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. It contains walk-through-style attractions aside from a themed Teacup ride.
Floor 3
The first floor of Thomas Town is dedicated to HIT Entertainment properties, namely Barney, Pingu, Bob the Builder and Angelina Ballerina. The attractions on this floor are mostly children's playgrounds.
Floor 4
The second floor of Thomas Town is fully dedicated to the Thomas & Friends franchise. The attractions on this floor are standard amusement park rides.
