Rainbow was a Rainbow built by German manufacturer HUSS that was previously located at Liseberg in Gothenburg, Västra Götaland, Sweden. The ride operated for 25 years until 2008 when an accident sealed its fate.
History

Rainbow opened in 1983.
Incident
On 15 July 2008, the entire ride collapsed, injuring several people. Inspectors had discovered a faulty drive shaft during their inspection. They believed that one of the axles that was designed to hold the passenger carriage horizontal failed. Two days after the incident, the attraction was completely removed.[1]
