Scary Falls is a speed tube water slide built by Italian manufacturer New Dieresin located at Caribe Bay in Venice, Veneto, Italy.[1]

History

The slide opened in 2002.[2]

In 2017, the slide's layout was changed, with the first 3 drops on the slide being replaced with one large drop, in additon to this, virtual reality was added, simulating a fall from a waterfall.[3] The virtual reality was removed by 2020.[4]

Design

The slide starts with a conveyor belt slowly feeding the tube into the slide, followed by the first of two drops, after a long straight section, another conveyor belt is hit, which once again, slowy feeds the tube into the second drop, this one larger, before splashing into the pool below.[5]
