Special Effects Coaster is a Premier Rides launched roller coaster product. The first installation was Backlot Stunt Coaster at Canada's Wonderland. There are currently three operating installations.
Ride Experience
The ride begins with a launch straight into a double helix. The train then drops into a "street" with highway signs and three police cars with sirens and lights flashing. The train then goes through an overbanked turn at an angle of 88 degrees followed by a small dip and then travel down a pair of "stairs" the train then stops in front of a tunnel. The train then launches into the tunnel, doing a couple twists and dips right before coming out of the broken billboard then turning left into the rides station.
