Speedway, originally known as Over the Top, was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Summit Beach Park in Akron, Ohio, USA.
Incident
Four riders were killed and 11 were injured on July 7, 1918 when the ride derailed after a board was left on the track. The manufacturer agreed to pay $1,500 to the estates of the four people who had been killed.[1]
