Splashdown Quaywest is an outdoor water park in Paignton, Devon, England, UK.

History

The park opened as Aquaventureland on 1 July 1988 featuring eight water slides manufactured by Big Country.

In 1991 Freetime Leisure were appointed as operators of the park. Freetime Leisure continued to operate the park until September 2008 when they returned control to Torbay Council. Torbay Council then appointed Lemur Attractions, the operators of Splashdown Poole, to operate the park in 2009.

In 2022 the park announced a £3m investment to expand the park including the construction of new slides after Lemur Attractions were awarded a 40-year long term lease of the park.

A three slide tower was included in the planning permission for the park expansion. This tower consists of a trapdoor speed slide, a funnel slide, and a wall slide, however this has not yet been constructed.
