Hello @LTPHarry can you please cite your sources for this page and Polin's involvement? Thanks Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 09:17, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

That’s the issue… Polin didn’t update themselves about it when the hotel did gain new slides. I do have some pictures to post so there you go.
I did find an image of the top of one of their older slides and it has their old logo on it, which I remember off by heart because I’ve been to this hotel about nine times now. But yeah, aside from the images I’ll try and find as much sourcing as possible, even though I did that last night and no luck. LTPHarry (talk) 10:59, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK, just seen your edit summary as well so thanks for adding the photos! At least the easy thing is they are Polin slides - you can see the badges in photos like this. Presumably you got the 2019 date from somewhere or is that from your own visits? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:07, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm it is hard to search for. How did you find the 2001 year? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:13, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
The year date shows on some holiday booking websites. I personally know that the hotel opened in 2001, but obviously that’s not a written source. One website I looked does show images from 2003 and 2004, years before I first went. LTPHarry (talk) 21:33, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
If you found it, add it in! :) Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:36, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
As for the 2019 date, the Hotel's Facebook page lists them as "New" for 2019. While it was posted on May 1, there is a comment from a guest saying the slides were there the previous month.[1] These new slides were the reason why I went to the hotel once again that year. (In 2017, they had the older slides) LTPHarry (talk) 21:44, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've added that in now, thanks Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:51, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
To add on... Polin also has an image of the hotel's older slides on their Pinterest account, in case you were wondering what they looked like. Officially, the slides had no names; so the names I gave them are based within their type. I was unsure about this whenever it comes to slides at hotels because most of the time they don't officially name them.[2] LTPHarry (talk) 21:53, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's okay - that's what I would do too. You can use that Polin Pinterest post as a source, though I did also find some Polin brochures online that had photos of those old slides. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:56, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
As I said on the Discord, it's cool to see these lesser-known water slides added. More map markers and info that isn't easy to find. So thanks! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:01, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Alright. I've just made a page on another hotel I've been to before, the Lara Barut Collection. Thankfully, I was able to find good information about the (new) slides they have when the hotel was remodelled back in 2022. However, the slides they have now are far better than the ones they used to have. LTPHarry (talk) 22:23, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
