This isn't a ride, as you do all the work yourself. Even an Astroglide (fun slide) will move the rider, a ropes course doesn't. I think ropes courses are beyond the scope of Coasterpedia, but I'm happy to be convinced otherwise.Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 09:04, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree here - I wouldn't class them as a 'ride', more of a glorified adventure playground. I don't think they merit their own pages, however they could be mentioned briefly on park pages under an 'other activities' sort of heading, along with the likes of trampolines, museums, crazy golf etc... The ropes course is considered to be an up-charge attraction at theme parks. - Loch Ness
Part of me wants to list them, because it's easy to find manufacturer info on them. But I see little distinction between them and the other attractions Jason mentioned - crazy golf etc. The pricing of an attraction (pay per ride, pay for entry, additional up-charge, etc) doesn't matter, we can still list Skycoaster rides for example. If there are no more comments on this, I'll go ahead and delete the ropes course articles that exist and incorporate them into the park pages. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 18:44, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
