I'm wondering if the slides were built by Raging Rapids - this archived page says they built seven slides and a lazy river in Nairobi, Kenya. The page was archived in 2000. Australian Waterslides & Leisure say this was their first project in Africa - though I understand they subcontract the design and manufacture of slides to various companies.
